Using Troubleshooting Chart

If you are experiencing a problem that is not listed in this chart, see your Homelite Servicing Dealer for service.

When you have checked all the possible causes listed and you are still experiencing the problem, see your Homelite Servicing Dealer.

*Note: This engine complies with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations which require exhaust emission control. As a result, the carburetor adjustment needles are equipped with plastic caps that limit the rotation from the original factory adjustment. If your unit exhibits specific performance problems that can not be corrected by the Trouble Shooting Section, the unit should be taken to a Homelite Servicing Dealer for repair.
