Advanced Operational Features

This section provides the following information about advanced features of the IP phones:

Feature	Description
MAC Address/Line Number in REGISTER	Allows you to enable or disable the sending of the MAC
Messages	address and line number from the IP phone to the call
	server, in a REGISTER message.
SIP Message Sequence for Blind Transfer	Allows you to enable or disable the phone to use the Blind
	Transfer method available in software prior to release 1.4.
Update Caller ID During a Call	Allows you to enable or disable the updating of the Caller ID
	information during a call.
Boot Sequence Recovery Mode	Allows you to enable or disable Web recovery mode and set
	the maximum boot count on the IP phone.
Auto-Discovery Using mDNS	The IP phones automatically perform an auto-discovery of all
	servers on a network using mDNS. When the IP phone
	discovers a TFTP server, it is automatically configured by
	that TFTP server.
Single Call Restriction (480i CT only)	Allows you to enable or disable a single call restriction
	between the 480i CT base unit and a call server.
