Advanced Operational Parameters

The following parameters in this section allow the system admininstrator to set advanced operational features on the IP phones.

MAC Address/Line Number

This section provides the parameters you can set to enable or disable the sending of the MAC address and line number in REGISTER messages to the call server.

Parameter –	Aastra Web UI:		Advanced Settings->Global SIP->

Send MAC Address in	Configuration Files		aastra.cfg, <mac>.cfg
REGISTER Message
(in Web UI)
Description	Adds an "Aastra-Mac:" header to the SIP REGISTER messages sent
	from the phone to the call server, where the value is the MAC address of
	the phone.
Format	Boolean
Default Value	0	(disabled)
Range	0	(disabled)
	1	(enabled)
Example	sip send mac: 1
