Data indicator (green) | Indicates the status of the data sent to the printer. | ||
| On: Data is being printed or is still in the print | ||
| buffer. If the indicator is on and the printer is not | ||
| printing it means the last page needs to be printed. | ||
| Press | Form Feed | to print the last page. |
| Off: All data has been printed. | ||
| Flashing: Data is being received from the host | ||
| computer. | ||
| NOTE: Data is lost if you power off or reset the | ||
| printer when the Data indicator is on or is flashing. | ||
Alarm indicator (orange) | Indicates that an error condition exists. A | ||
| ``beep'' sounds when the printer first senses an | ||
| alarm condition. The message display works in | ||
| conjunction with the Alarm indicator by showing | ||
| the type of error condition. | ||
| For example: 12 PRINTER OPEN | ||
| The Alarm indicator shuts off when the error | ||
| condition is cleared. | ||

Ready indicator (green) | Indicates when the printer is ready to print. | ||
| On: The printer is ready to print. | ||
| Off: The printer is powered off or an error | ||
| condition exists (the Alarm indicator is on). | ||
| Flashing: The printer is warming up. | ||
Message Display | The message display shows the current status of | ||
| the printer. | ||
| For example: 00 READY | ||
| When the printer is in the Menu Mode, the display | ||
| shows the selected menu, feature, or value. | ||
