| 5 Turn the case over and |

| remove the eight screws | |
| around the perimeter of | |
| the bottom case. | |
| Replacement Caution: | |
| When reassembling the | |
| PowerBook, the two long | |
| screws go in the outside | |
| holes on the front edge. | |
| Installing them in any of the | |
| other screw holes could | |
| cause the screws to push | |
| through the plastics or cause | |
| the plastic to dimple. | |
