After you connect	1	Verify that device and SCSI chain are terminated correctly.
external SCSI device,	2	Switch on external SCSI device before starting computer.
computer does not	3	Check cable connections.
boot	4	Try known-good SCSI cable.
	5	Verify that SCSI ID select switch setting on external device is
	6	unique.
		Try known-good external SCSI device.
	7	Try known-good external SCSI device without terminator.
	8	Replace I/O logic board.
