Battery Shim
Replacement
Battery shims (adhesive strips) ensure that the battery fits properly. The number of battery shims needed depend on the battery serial number. Serial numbers ending with either
• AXW or E7L require three shims (one on each side, one on the bottom)
• E3W or E7M require one shim (bottom only)
Caution: Never remove the shims unless they are
