4 Close the battery-chamber door in the direction of the arrow 1 and slide it until it clicks 2 .

•After replacing the batteries, check that the built-in clock (date and time) works correctly (See page 121).

If the camera has no power source for approximately five minutes, the built-in clock may delay or reset to the default setting. In this case, set the date and time again by following the procedure described on page 121.

•To avoid damaging the battery compartment door, make sure it is completely shut before setting the camera down.

•Batteries become hot during camera operation. Handle batteries with caution.
