**The unit has three microphone status indicators.Two located on the unit itself and the other a ‘light-ring’ indicator (red) located on the installed pluggable microphone LBB 3549/00 or LBB 3549/50 (not shown). All three are illuminated when the microphone is ON. When a microphone/headset is inserted into its jack socket, the pluggable microphone and its illuminated light ring are automatically switched OFF.
