Troubleshooting Installation Issues

CLI>file list install *

To view the log file from the command line, enter

CLI>file view install log_file

where log_file is the log file name.

You can also view logs using the Cisco Unified Real-Time Monitoring Tool.

You can dump the install logs to the serial port of a virtual machine using the “Dumping Install Logs” procedure mentioned at http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/How_to_Dump_Install_Logs_to_the_Serial_Port_of_the_Virtual_Machi ne.
