Note Cisco WAFS and ACNS software do not support the use of a keyboard or mouse (PS/2 or USB). However, a keyboard and mouse are supported by the BIOS for power-on self-test (POST), and the configuration or setup utility.

Connecting Power and Booting the System

To connect power to the device, follow these steps:

Step 1 Review the information in the “Safety Warnings” section on page 2-1.

Step 2 Plug the AC power cord into the power cord receptacle at the rear of the device. (See Figure 3-12.)

Step 3 Connect the other end of the power cord to a power source at your installation site. Step 4 Power up all externally connected devices.
