Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to enable a TLV on an interface:

configure terminal

Enters global configuration mode.

Step 2

interface interface-id

Example:

Switch(config)# interface

gigabitethernet2/0/1

Specifies the interface on which you are configuring an LLDP-MED TLV, and enter interface configuration mode.

Step 3

lldp med-tlv-select

Specifies the TLV to enable.

Example:

Switch(config-if)# lldp med-tlv-select inventory management

Step 4

end

Returns to privileged EXEC mode.

Example:

Switch(config-if)# end
