The KVM/net is furnished with a power cord used to connect the power connector to a power supply.

See “To Power On the KVM/net” on page 84 for instructions on supplying power to the KVM/net.

KVM Ports

The following figure shows KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) ports on the center rear of the KVM/net.

KVM ports provide remote access to the keyboard, monitor, and mouse of PCs with USB or PS/2 connectors or Sun servers with USB connectors. Connecting a computer to a KVM port allows use of a keyboard, video, and mouse of a remote station as if it were the keyboard video and mouse on the connected computer.
