Configuration

TTo Configure the AUX Port for Use With an IPDU or an External Modem

1.In Expert mode, go to: Configuration>AUX Port. The Aux Port form appears.

2.To configure the AUX Portfor Power Management, make sure that Power Management is selected in the Profile drop-down list. Note that the Aux port is enabled by default.

3.Click “apply changes.”

See “Power Management” on page 40 for background information on power management and lists of related tasks.

4.To configure the AUX Port for an external modem, make sure that PPP is selected in the Profile drop-down list.

Additional fields appear on the form.

5.Complete the fields as shown below.
