3Press the release lever and using the handle, slide the power supply out of the system. See Figure 3-5.

NOTE: Removing the power supply may require considerable force.

Installing a Power Supply

CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. CAUTION: The system requires one power supply to operate normally.

1Verify that both power supplies are of the same type and have the same maximum output power.

NOTE: The maximum output power is printed on the power supply label.

2Slide the new power supply into the chassis until the power supply is fully seated and the release lever snaps into place. See Figure 3-5.
