Installing Front Panel

CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.

1Push aside the retention hooks on the front-panel assembly and place the front panel into the front-panel assembly. See Figure 3-35.

2Replace the front-panel assembly into the hard-drive cage. See Figure 3-34.

3Replace the screws that secure the front-panel assembly to the hard-drive cage. See Figure 3-34.

4Replace the hard-drive cage into the chassis. See Figure 3-32.

5Replace the screws that secure the front-panel assemblies to the chassis. See Figure 3-32.

6Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive cage to the chassis. See Figure 3-31.
