Installing the Fan Controller Board CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician.
Youshould only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in
yourproduct documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service
andsupport team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not
covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came
withthe product.

Place the fan controller board into the chassis and slide it into place.

Replace the screw to secure the fan controller board to the chassis.

Connect all the cables to the fan controller board. See Figure5-12.
You must route these cables properly through the tabs on the chassis to
prevent them from being pinched or crimped.
