Removing the Midplanes

1Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from its electrical outlet.

4Remove the cooling fans. See "Removing a Cooling Fan" on page 92.

5Remove the screws that secure the cooling-fan brackets to the chassis. See Figure 3-26.

6Lift the cooling-fan brackets out of the chassis. Figure 3-26.
