Using Web Tools

Performance View

The Performance View graphically displays throughput (megabytes per second) for each port and also for the entire switch.

◆Port throughput is the number of bytes received at a port plus the number of bytes transmitted.

◆Switch throughput is the sum of the throughput for all the ports.

To access Performance View:

1.Launch the web browser.

2.Enter the switch name or IP address in the Location/Address field and press Enter. For example:

http://switch name/

Web Tools launches, displaying Fabric View (Figure 3-2).

3.Click the Switch icon. The Switch View (Figure 3-12) displays.

4.Click the Performance icon. The Performance View displays.
