Starting up and operation

If you are using the ServerView Installation Manager, you can skip the following section on how to configure the server and install the operating system. Continue from section "Cleaning the server" on page 82.

Configure SAS/SATA RAID controller with "MegaRAID functionality"

Installing the operating system

ÊInsert the CD/DVD for the operating system you want to install.

ÊReboot the server.

ÊFollow the instructions on screen and in the manual for the operating system.
