CONFIGURING AGENTS FOR DATA

6 COLLECTION

This chapter describes how to use Traffix™ Manager to identify and enable RMON agents on your network for data collection.

It contains the following sections:

■Supported RMON Agents and Interfaces

■Finding Agents for Data Collection

See “RMON Overview” on page 37 for more information about RMON agents.

Supported RMON Traffix Manager supports all agents which implement all the relevant

Agents andgroups of RMON-1 and RMON-2 standards.
