CLI Command Summary

CommandDescription

authority

If enabled, designates this 7190 as authoritative for the specified

 

host. Default: enabled.

 

Syntax:

 

config dns zones <zonename> hostnames <hostname>

 

authority [enabledisable]

 

where:

 

zonename is the name of the zone in which the host is located

 

for which this 7190 is to be authoritative.

 

hostname is the name of the host for which this 7190 is to be

 

authoritative.

 

 

add-rec-responses

Sets the maximum number of additional A records that can be

<addrecrespval>

returned in a DNS response. The value ranges from 0 to 15.

 

Syntax:

 

config dns zones <zonename> hostnames <hostname>

 

add-rec-responses <addrecrespval>

 

 

multi-vip-standby enable

When multi-VIP standby is enabled, VIPs that are marked as “NOT IN USE” and “NOT FAILED” are included in a multi-VIP response (if the number of additional VIPs in the response has not been met). The number of responses displayed are set with the add-rec-responsecommand. Multi-VIP standby is disabled by default.

Syntax:

config dns zones <zonename> hostnames <hostname> multi-vip-standby enable

disable

Disables multi-VIP standby, if enabled.

 

 

config dns zones

Moves to the siteservices command level.

<zonename>

 

hostnames

 

<hostname>

 

siteservices

 

 

 

info

Displays information of all site services for this hostname.

 

 

stats

Displays statistical information of all site services.
