Understanding LoopTest Messages

The Diagnostic field in the main LoopTest dialog displays LoopTest test results:

The following table describes diagnostic messages:

Message	Cause

Test passed	LoopTest detected no errors during testing.

Card missing or	An error occurred before accessing the network.
non-ISDN	Possible causes are:
	• The card is not installed.
	• The drivers are not properly installed.
	• LoopTest could not find an ISDN port on the card.
	To check for ISDN ports:
	a. From the Start menu, select Programs, then
	Interphase WAN Adapters, and then WAN
	Setup.
	b. Make sure the firmware contains the ISDN layer.
