Installing the Remote Access Manager Suite

To install the Remote Access Manager Suite, do the following:

1.When the Virtual Motion Remote Access Manager Suite Setup dialog box appears, click Next to continue.

2.On the Acotec License Software Agreement dialog box, review the agreement and click Yes to accept the terms.

3.On the Choose Components dialog box, select the programs you want Setup to install, and click Next.

4.On the Enter License Key dialog box, enter the product license key. (Find the key on the Acotec license page included in the 5536 product package.) Then click Next.

5.On the Choose Destination Directory dialog box, follow the instructions to install the Remote Access Manager Suite in the appropriate directory. Then click Next to continue (or click Cancel to cancel and exit the installation).

6.On the Select Logging Type dialog box, select the type of dial-in session log you want the RAS Port Manager to create.

To create a comma-delimited text file with one record for each RAS session, select Log to RPMSESS.LOG file. The RAS Port Manager saves RPMSESS.LOG in the Windows SYSTEM directory on the RAS server.

To write the session log to your database manager using the ODBC interface, select Log using ODBC datasource. For this logging method, an ODBC data source must be set up. For instructions, see your Acotec Remote Access Manager documentation and ODBC documentation.

7.When you are prompted to restart windows, select No, I will restart later.
