Reception Features

The print area is determined by the

optional expansion memory, reso-

lution, and the vertical length of

the originals.

If paper longer than 600 mm is

used, the paper may get wrinkled,

it may not be sent, or a paper jam

may occur.

The machine can detect A4L,

A3L(81/2"⋅11"L, 11"⋅13"L) pa-

per sizes. When you load any other

size, specify the paper size. See

p.158 “Programming Bypass Tray

Paper Size” .

When using tray 1 of the optional

1000-sheet finisher, paper is out-

put to the tray even with non-

5

standard sizes selected.

If the specified paper size and the size of paper set in the bypass tray do not match, paper jams may oc- cur, or the image may be truncat- ed.

If messages are printed on paper smaller than A4, the image may be truncated, or split across sheets.

If you use this function, Image Ro- tation and 180-Degree Rotating Printing are not possible.
