AAs a security measure, current Motorola SURFboard cable modems provide a Standby button to temporarily suspend the Internet connection. Because enabling the SBG940 firewall provides high security levels while connected, the Standby button is not required.
QCan I still watch cable TV while using my SBG940?
AYes, your cable TV line can carry the TV signal while you send and receive information on the Internet.
