| Enabled | This port searches for a script file when a user logs in to this |

| Disabled | This port does not search for a script file when a user logs in |

| to this port. |
Line Editing | If line editing is enabled at this port, the SHOW PORT ALTERNATE | |
Characters | CHARACTERISTICS display includes the values for the line editing characters. If this | |
| characteristic is disabled at this port, the display does not include this information. |
