Controlling the AV Receiver

To control the AV receiver, press the [Receiver] but- ton to select Receiver mode.

You can also use the remote controller to control your DVD player, CD player, and other components.

See page 122 for more details.

cMulti CH button (55)

Selects the multichannel DVD input.

dMacro buttons (132)

Used with the Macro function.

eArrow [q]/[w]/[e]/[r] and Enter buttons

Used to select and adjust settings.

fSetup button

Used to change settings.

aOn/Standby button (39)

Sets the AV receiver to On or Standby.

bRemote Mode/Input Selector buttons (54, 124–130)

Selects the remote controller modes and the input sources.

Used to change audio settings.

When the “Audio TV Out” setting is set to “On” (page 110), this button is disabled.

nSleep button (56)

Used with the Sleep function.

*SP A/B is not used in this AV receiver.

Controlling the tuner

To control the AV receiver’s tuner, press the [Tuner] (or [Receiver]) button.

You can select AM or FM by pressing the [Tuner] button repeatedly.

1Arrow [q]/[w] buttons

Used to tune into radio stations.

2Number buttons (57)

Used to select radio stations directly.

3D.TUN button (57)

Selects the Direct tuning mode.

4Display button (63, 73)

Displays information about the band, frequency, preset number, and so on.

5CH +/– button (58)

Used to select radio presets.

Note:

An Onkyo cassette recorder connected via ucan also be controlled in Receiver mode (see page 130).
