Mesh Topology
A mesh topology describes a fabric in which each chassis has at least one port directly connected to each other chassis in the fabric. The example mesh fabric shown in Figure
Each link contributes up to 200 MB/s of bandwidth between switches, 400 MB/s in full duplex. Because of multiple parallel paths, there is less competition for this bandwidth than with a cascade or a Multistage topology.
Latency between any two ports is one chassis hop.
