Basic Shooting
This section explains the general flow of shooting operation, and provides basic shooting instructions.
Operation Flow
To record an image, follow the steps below:
Turn on the Camera
Slide the power switch to turn the camera on and set the mode dial to [ ] (p.41).
Select IN/CARD (Internal memory/SmartMedia memory card) Memory
Select the internal memory ( ) or SmartMedia ( ). (p.42)
Select a PIC (Image quality) Mode
Choose from six picture modes (

Select a Recording Mode

Set the Size of the Subject
Use the ▼ or ▲ button to select the size of the subject (p.46)
Check the position of the subject

Shoot
Press the shutter release button (p.48).
