14. Standard web server
14. 17. “E-mail” page
The configuration page of the E-mail service is available in the setup menu V E-mail of the option board web page, only for V2.1 version and above.
This service is able to generate and send e-mails to a predefined address in case of alarms or drive detected faults. The controller inside option board can also initiate the sending of an e-mail.
It is possible to configure the E-mail service after entering the “Write password” (see “HTTP password” and “Data write password pages” section on page 55).
Enter the following information to configure the E-mail service:
E-mail IP Server: IP address of the E-mail server that will process the message (SMTP server)
E-mail Dest @: E-mail address of the E-mail recipient
E-mail From @: E-mail address of the Ethernet option board which will send the e-mail (this is a virtual address since the option board does not provide any incoming e-mail box)
Configure the triggering mode for sending E-mail:
Drive Fault: an E-mail is sent when a drive detects a fault (triggered by ETA status word bit 3)
Drive alarm: an E-mail is sent when a drive generates an alarm (triggered by ETA status word bit 7)
Eth. Board fault: an E-mail is sent if an ethernet board becomes inoperative
PLC Board status: an E-mail is sent on demand from the application of the Controller Inside Card.
