Used when the external zirconia O2 sensor or the external O2 sensor is ordered. It is not required or used if the analyzer has a built-in O2 sensor.

Connect the dedicated connector (accessory) to the output of the external zirconia sensor or the external O2 sensor (shipped separately).

When using an external O2 sensor, the input signal should be 0 to 1 VDC with respect to the O2 full scale of the analyzer. The O2 concentration display, output, and O2 correction can then be performed correctly.

Note: The O2 sensor input is not isolated. TAI recommends that it

be isolated when an external O2 analyzer is installed remote from the analyzer. The zirconia O2 sensor should be installed at a location that is as close to the analyzer as possible.

The figure below shows how to connect the O2 signal to the dedicated connector (accessory).
