Introduction

RTC battery	The internal RTC battery backs up the Real Time
	Clock (RTC) and calendar.
AC adaptor	The AC adaptor provides power to the system
	and recharges the batteries when they are low. It
	comes with a detachable power cord which will
	either have a 2-pin or 3-pin plug enclosure.
	Because it is universal, it can receive a range of
	AC voltage from 100 to 240 volts; however, the
	output current varies among different models.
	Using the wrong model can damage your
	computer. Refer to the AC adaptor section in
	Chapter 2, The Grand Tour.
Disks
Hard disk drive	Available in four sizes.
	■ 40.0 billion bytes (37.26 GB)
	■ 60.0 billion bytes (55.89 GB)
	■ 80.0 billion bytes (74.53 GB)
	■ 100.0 billion bytes (93.16 GB)
	Part of the space in the hard disk drive is
	reserved as administration space.

USB floppy disk Accommodates either 3 1/2" 1.44-megabyte or

drive720-kilobyte floppy disks. It connects to a USB port. Option or provided with some models.
