Workpoint window warning

Usage guidelines

Power Modules of the XMP 2600 can monitor their outputs and warn the user if the output values exceed a defined range. The window warning thresholds that define the aforementioned range have both a high value (Vhigh for voltage and Ihigh for current) and a low value (Vlow for voltage and Ilow for current).

The following sections describe how to use the workpoint window warning feature of the XMP 2600.

Setting the window thresholds

Programming the window thresholds is done using the following commands:

VHIGH <ch>,<value>

for the high voltage

V

threshold

Vmax

Vhigh

IHIGH <ch>,<value>

for the high current

Vset

VLOW <ch>,<value>

for the low voltage

Imin

Imax

Iset

I

ILOW <ch>,<value>

for the low current threshold

The high threshold values can range from the set point (Vset or Iset) to the rating value (Vmax or Imax).

The low threshold values can range from 0 to the set point value (Vset or Iset).

Enabling the window thresholds

The high and low thresholds can be enabled or disabled, in pairs, using the commands: WHIGH <ch>,{10} (use 1 to enable and 0 to disable)

and

WLOW <ch>,{10} (use 1 to enable and 0 to disable)
