Supported Document Types
You can scan the following types of documents with this scanner.
•The maximum amount of paper in the input tray
This is approximately 75 sheets of 20 lb
•Document size
•Minimum size (width x length) – 4.0 x 4.13 inches (102 x 105 mm)
•Maximum size (width x length) – 11.7 x 118‡ inches (297 mm x 2997 mm)
We recommend scanning one page at a time when the documents you are scanning are longer than 17 inches (432 mm). Please refer to scanning with Manual feed mode in the TWAIN interface for instructions on scanning one page at a time.

•14 to 28 lbs (53 ~ 105 g/m2) new printer paper
Preparing Documents for Scanning
•Fan the documents to make sure all pages in the stack are separated.
•Bend and then flatten the document stack to make sure the horizontal edges are aligned to help prevent paper from skewing while being pulled through the scanner.
•Pinch the ends to align the leading edges slantwise to help prevent multiple pages from being fed through at a single time.
