4.Remove the roller from the scanner and discard it, it cannot be repaired.
5.Before installing the new roller, clean any dust that may have gotten on it during shipping.
6.Insert the left end of the roller into the channel in the ADF door.
7.Angle the roller module up and into the channel in the underside of the ADF door. Hold the feed roller module fully in the scanner door while you lock it in place.
8.Align the tab on the lock flange with the slot in the scanner. Use the lever to rotate the locking tab into the slot in the scanner. Push on the lever until it clicks in place and locks the roller in the ADF door.
9.Close the ADF cover. Carefully press down on the ADF cover until it locks in place with a “click”.
