This section explains the functions and operation of the mixer built into the MRS-1266.

About the mixer

The mixer of the MRS-1266 is divided into two sections: an “input mixer” that processes the input signals from the input jacks, and a “track mixer” that processes the signals from the tracks of the recorder section and from the rhythm section. Details of each mixer are described below.

The input mixer serves to adjust the sensitivity of the signals

that are input from the INPUT 1 - 6 jacks and the GUITAR/

Recorder section

BASS INPUT 1 - 2 jacks, set various parameters such as pan and send levels to the send/return effects, and assign the signals to the recorder tracks.

The parameters that can be adjusted in the input mixer are listed in the following table.

■Track mixer

The track mixer serves to process the playback signals of the recorder tracks (1 - 8, 9/10) and the sound of the drum kit/ bass program of the rhythm section, and mix these signals to stereo. The signal mixed by the track mixer is routed via the [MASTER] fader to the [OUTPUT] jacks and the master track (see diagram below).
