Assigning a signal to the SUB OUT jack

With the default settings of the MRS-1266, the STEREO SUB OUT jack on the front panel carries the signal after the [MASTER] fader. (Therefore it can be used as an extra headphone jack.)

If required, you can assign a signal to the jack, so that it carries only the signal from a specific input, track, or the drum or bass channel. This is useful for example to extract only the drum sound for further processing with an external effect device. To assign a signal to this jack, proceed as follows.

1. From the main screen, press the [UTILITY/TRACK EDIT] key in the display section.

The utility menu appears.
