3. Turn the dial to edit the value of the PAN parameter.

The PAN parameter can be adjusted in a range of L100 (far

left) - 0 (center) - R100 (far right).

4. When you have finished adjusting the panningvalue, press the [EXIT] key.

The unit returns to the main screen. The function of the PAN parameter changes as follows, depending on the number of input jacks that are currently turned on, and on the number of recording tracks that are currently selected.

When no recording track is selected

For the signal that is sent from the input mixer to the L/R channels of the OUTPUT jacks, the PAN parameter will adjust the panning position (if the input is in mono) or the balance (if the input is in stereo).

When a stereo track or two mono tracks are selected as recording tracks

For the signal that is sent from the input mixer to the two tracks, the PAN parameter will adjust the panning position (if the input is in mono) or the balance (if the input is in stereo).

When one mono track is selected as recording track

The PAN parameter will have no effect.

Basic operation of the track mixer

Adjusting the volume/pan/EQ

For each channel, you can adjust the volume, panning

(stereo position between L/R channels), and EQ (equalizer).

1. To adjust the volume of a track or the drum/bass sound, operate the respective fader.

2. To adjust the panning position of a track or the drum/bass sound, press the [PAN] key in the track parameter section, and then press the status key for the desired track or for the drum/bass sound.

3. Turn the dial to edit the value of the PAN parameter.

The PAN parameter can be adjusted in a range of L100 (far left) - 0 (center) - R100 (far right).

To adjust the pan of another track or the drum/bass sound, repeat steps 2 - 3.

HINT

If a stereo track or the drum sound is selected, the PAN parameter adjusts the left/right channel balance.

In the parameter screen you can also use the cursor left/ right keys to select the track or drum/bass sound and the cursor up/down keys to switch parameters.

4. To adjust EQ, press the [EQ HIGH] or [EQ LOW] keyin the track parameter section.

Press the [EQ HIGH] key to adjust the high frequency range tone, or the [EQ LOW] key to adjust the low frequency range tone.

At this time, editing will affect the track or drum/bass sound that was last selected. If necessary, switch to the desired track or drum/bass sound.
