When the backup is finished, the display shows “SAVE COMPLETE”.

If the project size is larger than the capacity of one CD-R/ RW disc, the disc will be ejected after it has been filled up, and a message prompting the user to insert the next CD-R/ RW disc appears.

CHANGEDISC0029. When the above message appears, insert a newCD-R/RW disc, and press the [ENTER] key.

The backup operation resumes. If more than two discs are required, the above steps will be repeated. When the backup is finished, the display indication changes to “SAVE COMPLETE”.

HINT

When the disc has been ejected, it also possible to abort the backup operation. To do this, press the [EXIT] key while the indication “CHANGE DISCxxx” (where xxx is the disc num- ber) is shown. The indication will change to “SAVE CAN- CEL?”. Press the [ENTER] key to terminate the process.

NOTE

When a backup spans several discs, the discs must be used in the same order for restore. Be sure to note the disc number on the case and label of the disc.

10. To return to the main screen, press the [EXIT] key

several times.

Saving all projects to CD-R/RW disc

You can save all projects on the hard disk to CD-R/RW media for backup.

If the total size of all projects is larger than the capacity of one CD-R/RW disc, the backup will automatically extend over multiple volumes, with lower-numbered projects being placed on lower-numbered discs.

NOTE

Also if all projects were saved in one operation, restoring will

be on a single-project basis.

1. Insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc into the CD-R/RW

drive.

To back up projects, use a blank CD-R/RW disc or a CD-RW

disc that has been completely erased.

2. From the main screen, press the [BACK UP] key in

the control section.

The backup menu appears.

3. Use the cursor left/right keys to bring up the

indication “BACKUP ALL SAVE” on the display,

and press the [ENTER] key.

The display shows the space required for the backup of all

projects in MB (megabytes).
