Power Supply
The power outlet should be close to the machine and should be easily accessible.
For Fax or Telephone
-Do not use this product near water, for example near bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
-Avoid using a telephone (other than a cordless type) during an electrical storm. There may be a remote risk of an electric shock from lightning.
-Do not use a telephone in the vicinity of a gas leak to report the leak.
Paper recommendations
Loading paper in the main paper tray
•Insert the paper face down and adjust the paper guides to the paper size to avoid feed failure, skewing and paper jams.
•Amount of loaded paper must not exceed the loading mark. If the loading mark is exceeded, this may cause feed failure, skewing, and paper jams.
•Adding paper during printing must be avoided because it may cause

Handling the machine
Operator shocks
During printing, avoid shocks due to static electricity applied to the paper tray, covers and other parts of the machine.
Moving the machine
When moving the machine on a desk, it must be lifted and not dragged.
Handling the print cartridge
•Must not be stood on the side, or held upside down.
•Must not be shaken strongly.
