Communications systems are frequently shared by several companies. These com- panies want to jointly use the existing infrastructure (e.g. the existing lines and fea- tures of the system), while at the same time they wish to organise and pay for their communication completely independently of one another.

■Up to five companies can be configured at the same time.
■Every user of the Aastra 800 is assigned to a company.
■Each available bundle (trunk group) or SIP account is uniquely assigned to a company so that incoming external calls can be transferred to the correct internal subscriber.
■For each company, every route can have its own code. For example, it is pos- sible to activate different routes with the code “0” for different companies. This enables separate charging for outgoing external calls, for example.
■An individual exchange (“operator”) can be set up for each company.
■Each company can maintain the communication data of its business partners in its own company telephone book.
■The charges can be billed individually for each company.
