timeout login response
This command sets the interval tha t the system waits for a user to log in to the CLI.
Use the no form to restore the default.
Syntax
timeout login response [seconds]
no timeout login response
seconds - Integer that specifies the timeout interval.
(Range:0 - 300 seconds; 0: disabled)
Default Setting
CLI: Disabled (0 seconds)
Telnet: 600 seconds

Command Usage
If a login attempt is not detected within the timeout interval, the connection is
terminated for the session.
This command applies to both the local console and T elnet connections.
The timeout for Telnet cannot be disabled.
Using the command without specifying a timeout restores the default setting.
Example
To set the timeout to two minutes, enter this command:
