4 Command Line Interface

A local engine ID is automatically generated that is unique to the switch. This is referred to as the default engine ID. If the local engine ID is deleted or changed, all SNMP users will be cleared. You will need to reconfigure all existing users (page 4-128).

The number of times that the engine has (re-)initialized since the snmp EngineID

 

was last configured.

 

Remote SNMP engineID

String identifying an engine ID on a remote device.

 

 

 

IP address

IP address of the device containing the corresponding remote SNMP engine.
