Managing IGMP Proxies 365
Displaying Proxies
Use this procedure to display proxies for multicast groups:
The show ip igmp proxy command displays the following information
about each proxy:
Group Address — IP Multicast group address or address range for which
the interface acts as a proxy.
Mask — Mask associated with the group address.
Interface — Interface that acts as the proxy.
MetricMetric value from 1 to 255 that assigns a priority to the proxy.
One (1) is the highest priority; 255 is the lowest priority.
Status — Active or Backup. Active status means that the proxy is
currently in use. Backup status means that the proxy is currently not in
use.
Deleting Proxies
Use this procedure to delete proxies for multicast groups:

1. Enter root mode. root
2. Display proxies. show ip igmp proxy

3. Specify the multicast address or
address range, mask, and metric
for the proxy that you want to
delete.

<group-mask> metric <number>
