Command Mode Description
asbr router:ospf Configures the system as an
Autonomous System Border
Router (ASBR).
ip ospf area-id <area-id>
[{enable | disable}] interface:<type>:csi <c/s/i>:ip-address
<ip address>
Configures the Area ID for the
current interface. The Area ID
designates the OSPF area to which
this IP interface belongs.
ip ospf authentication {md5 |
password} interface:<type>:csi <c/s/i>:ip-address
<ip address>
Configures the authentication type
for the OSPF interface.
ip ospf authentication {key-id <id>
key <key> | key <key>} interface:<type>:csi <c/s/i>:ip-address
<ip address>
Configures the authentication key
for the OSPF interface.

Defines the cost metric for this IP

Assigns the interface priority the
current IP interface.
ip ospf retransmit-interval

Sets the Link State Advertisement
(LSA) retransmit interval in seconds
for the current IP interface.
ip ospf transit-delay
<number of seconds> interface:<type>:csi <c/s/i>:ip-address

Sets the number of seconds it
takes to transmit a link state
update packet on the current IP
interface.
