Console Management
Set Console Password
This option sets the IntraSwitch 5308FL’s Console password.
The Console password is the password needed to access the
Configuration Menu.
Δ Note: The default password is Asante. To change the Console password:
1 Type c from the Configuration Menu.
The following command line appears at the bot- tom of the screen:

The password must be a minimum of one character and a maximum of 20 characters in length. The password takes any ASCII code.
Press return.
Type the new password again at the confirma- tion password prompt.
Press return.
The Console password is changed.
