Name—Name for the new VLAN
ID—VLAN ID number, valid number between 1-4094 (1 is reser ved for th e

Instance ID—Instance table representation of a VLAN. The Instance ID
does not directly correlate to the VLAN ID
Initial Hash Table Size—1024, the default setting for the Initial Hash table
size.
Auto- Increment HT Size—Default setting is True. Enable to
automatically correct for undersized hash table size.
Address Forwarding Table, Auto-Sizing, Auto Increment and Threshold
Default Settings In the navigation pane, expand the L2 Switching > Address Forwarding
Tabl e folders , and then click Configuration. The Address Forwarding
Table Configuration Web page is displayed in the content pane. See
Figure 9-2.
Auto-Sizing is a feature that allows the Avaya Multiservice Switch to
automatically correct for an unde rs ized hash table, which can result in poo r
AFT memory utilization. Auto-Sizing consists of three parameters: Auto-
Increment, Trigger (Multiplier), and Threshold (Util%) in the Address
Forwarding Table Configuration
