Entering General System Information
You can enter general information about your system by using either the
Web Agent or the CLI.
Web Agent
Procedure You can enter general system information usi ng the following Web Agent
fields:
■Switch name
■Device location
■Device contact
To enter general system information from the Web Agent:
1. In the navigation pane, expand the System folder, and then click
General Information.
The General Information Web page is dis played i n the c ontent p ane. See
Figure 3-1.

2. Enter the switch name in the Name field.
3. Enter the location for the switch (for example, floor, closet in the
Location field.
