Using the Options Key

The Options key changes the settings for paper type, print size and color enhancement. These options will be displayed in the order of the chart below.

Press Options:

PAPER TYPE	PAPER:PLAIN
	PAPER:INK JET	INK JET:BROTHER
	PAPER:GLOSSY	INK JET:OTHER
	PAPER:PHOTO
	PAPER:TRNSPRNCY
QUALITY	QUALITY:NORMAL
	QUALITY:HIGH
	QUALITY:PHOTO
PRINT SIZE	SIZE:5.75" X 4.25"
	SIZE:4" X 3"
	SIZE:4" X 3" X 6
	SIZE:8" X 6"
COLOR ENHANCE	TRUE2LIFE:OFF		is default.
	TRUE2LIFE:ON

1Press Options.

2Press or to select PAPER TYPE, PRINT SIZE or COLOR ENHANCE, and press Set.

If you selected the PAPER TYPE:

If you use premium paper, the copy quality will be improved. For best results, we recommend using Brother special paper.

3Press or to select the type of paper you are using (PLAIN, INK JET, GLOSSY, PHOTO or TRNSPRNCY), and press Set.

Brother coated paper is ink jet paper.

Note If you are using non-Brother ink jet paper or Brother coated paper select

INK JET.
